How to Download YouTube Videos

Find the Video

YouTube delivers some videos using DASH β a format that streams audio and video separately and combines them during playback. 4K downloads might come as WebM rather than MP4 to preserve quality. For the broadest device support, 1080p in MP4 is the most reliable choice.
Common YouTube Download Problems
"Video unavailable" error
