GIFs are actually videos
What looks like a GIF in your timeline is technically an MP4 file served through a separate system. Videolyti downloads them as proper video with full quality, not low-res animated GIFs.
Use the original tweet URL for retweets
A retweet URL gives worse extraction metadata than the original post. Find the original tweet and copy that URL for the most reliable download.
Spaces recordings need to be archived first
Twitter Spaces only become downloadable if the host archived the recording after the broadcast. Live Spaces currently in progress cannot be captured.

Common Issues & Fixes
No video found in tweet
The tweet may contain only images or a static GIF image rather than a video. Also check if it is a quote tweet β the video might be in the quoted tweet, not the outer post.
Spaces download failed
Only archived Spaces are downloadable. Live Spaces happening right now and Spaces that were not saved by the host after the broadcast ended are not available.
Low quality video
Twitter compresses uploads aggressively. Videos shot in 4K are typically served at 720p to 1080p max. The download quality matches exactly what Twitter actually serves β there is nothing to recover beyond that.
Protected account content
Videolyti works with public tweets only. Locked accounts require authentication we do not support for privacy reasons.
